Pod Jesiotrem Hotel and Restaurant – what’s interesting in our area?
od Jesiotrem Hotel is located in Zdziersk close to Łabiszyn, on beauthiful Pałucki trail which has in its offer many interesting points. The landscape of Pałuki region encourages to take a close look at its beauty and richness of forests, lakes and historical monuments. It makes this region very attractive and draws attention of anglers, mushroom pickers, shooting fans, zealous supporters of nordic walking as well as hiking and cycling enthusiasts.
Beyond doubt, there is something for everyone here.
We highly recommend a number of interesting places in our region.
So, if you find some spare time, feel encouraged to take a stroll around Łabiszyn and visit our local mill from 1796. The nature lovers, on the other hand, can admire ‘The Jagiełło Oak’, a natural monument.
A few miles from Łabiszyn, in Lubostroń village, there is a nice Palace-Park Complex, which is worth seeing too.
From April to October the Scout Holiday Resort in Smerzyn, with a nearby beach, welcomes those who prefer leisure activities, inter alia water sports, to passive rest. And, no doubt, a professional Diving Centre in Piechcin might be of interest of every scuba diver.
While visiting a nearby town of Żnin, why not take advantage of using one of its famous public transport services, the narrow-gauge railway, which terminates at Gąsawa station.
We are also encouraging the enthusiasts of good entertainment to have a visit at both the Western City in Bożejewiczki near Żnin, and the ancient settlement of Biskupin, placed on Pałuki trail.
Out of all major cities, quite close to us, we strongly recommend to visit the following ones: Bydgoszcz “the city facing towards the river”, Gniezno “The Greater Poland seat of the kings” and Toruń – one of Poland’s oldest cities, in which a famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus was born.
Our region has in its offer much more of such original and unique places,
by which you might be very pleasantly surprised, so do not waste your time, see for yourself and pay us a visit.
